Stephen Talkhouse: One of the best live music venues in the country ... Period! Located out on the tip of Long Island in NY, they're a great group of peopl who run many fundraisers to support wounded soldiers. Check out their website for scheduled performances.

Soldier Ride: An organization that assists wounded service members returning from the current conflics abroad. Each year they sponsor a number of the wounded, many with missing limbs, on a cross country bicycle ride. Its amazing to see!

Wounded Warrior Project: One of our favorites. An organization that provided comfort and aid to wounded service members as they undergo rehabilitation at military hospitals. They run a program that gives a backpack filled with comfort items (clothes, calling cards, playing cards, toiletries, etc.) to the wounded at their hospital bedside. You can sponsor a backpack on their website and send a personal message to one of the wounded.

U-Haul: We all know U-haul and most of us have used their vehicles or equipment at one time or another. But did you know that they have a long history of supporting charitable organizations that help veterans and active duty military? Check out their website for more info on their programs for charities.
